CONVERGENCE
Group project for Gilmore Block Week. Leading up to National Indigenous day, the temporary wood-frame structure is erected as a considerable beacon for community celebration and events. The wooden columns are attached to strategically placed stone piles inset into the ground. Once the structure has been taken down, the stone piles remain as a link to the land and the first nations significance to the birthplace of Calgary and all that came after it.
