BIEN MANGER
950 Dupont Street, Toronto, Ontario The basis of the Bien Manger design was developed upon the history of Dupont street, the buildings heritage, and the history of culinary arts. Property evaluation conducted in 2013 by Dan Eylon highlighted its contribution to the overall heritage value. This inspired me to work within existing elements while still promoting interaction and mobility. This is exemplified by the furniture layout, material selection, and lighting. All users are connected to the aspect of food through spatial planning and sequence, integration, wayfinding, and materiality.
